Dear First Name Last Name,
I want to thank you for being part of the Slingshot family. You own the best ride on three wheels that turns heads the
moment you pull up, and we are proud to have you in the driver's seat with us.
With constant focus on quality, we’ve identified an opportunity to reduce oil consumption in your Polaris Slingshot. An
updated Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system and dipstick are available for installation by an Authorized Polaris
Slingshot dealer. We ask that you contact your dealer and schedule an appointment to have the update performed,
at no cost to you, at your earliest convenience.
While this update will enhance the performance of your vehicle, we recognize the inconvenience and time required to have
it completed. As part of the work performed, we are providing a complimentary engine oil and filter change. That
way, you can get back in the driver's seat knowing a full engine oil and filter service has been completed using the
recommended PS-4 5W-50 oil.
To take full advantage of your Slingshot, performing a pre-ride inspection as described in your Owner’s Manual is always
recommended. When checking or changing the oil, note that this update will change the fill capacity to 6 quarts. At
operating temp, the oil level should be maintained between the ADD and FULL marks on the dipstick. Visit slingshot.polaris.
com/en-us/self-help/ for a video tutorial on completing the pre-ride inspection.
We know and appreciate how much you enjoy the open road and that’s why we’ve always sought to engineer the best ride
on three wheels. Again, thank you for being a Polaris Slingshot owner and for taking the time to have your vehicle updated.
We hope to see you out on the road soon.
Sincerely,
Chris Sergeant
Vice President, Polaris
Slingshot
