Symptom 203000 Basic Electrical
Issue:
X250 System reset via FSJB (Front Smart Junction Box) /
RSJB (Rear Smart Junction Box) clear down.
Cause:
FSJB / RSJB’s are returned back to the supplier for
testing with no faults evident. The system complexity
requires all modules to be restored to a default state with
regards to short term memory retention of settings and
data.
Action:
Prior to replacing or re-configuring a FSJB / RSJB please
carry out the following actions.
· Disconnect the positive battery cable.
· Remove ALL connections on the FSJB or RSJB.
Content
· Short C3 Pin 7 (A see attachment) to the battery
connection plate (NOT STUD) (B see attachment) for
approx 2 seconds.
· Reconnect everything, FSJB / RSJB first and then
battery positive cable.
· Read and clear DTC’s (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), from
Medium speed, High speed and MOST.
· Run an ignition cycle. (Full ign start up and shut down)
· Determine if failure mode is still present.
· If the fault is still there then use SDD / DTC help text to
determine correct fault.
Please submit an ePQR to advise if unsuccessful or other
causes are discovered.
