ANB6 - Checking Threaded Joint for Seat Belt Mount at the Left and Right and Replacing
Seat Frame if Necessary (Recall Campaign)
Model Line:
911 (992)
Model Year:
As of 2021 up to 2022
Equipment:
Full bucket seats (M-no. Q1K)
Concerns:
Threaded joint securing seat belt mount to driver's seat and passenger's seat
Cause:
Due to a process error in the production run, on affected vehicles the screw connection of the
belt end installing on the driver's seat as well as the passenger seat may not comply with the
specifications.
If this is the case, the functionality of the screw connection cannot be ensured in the event of an accident
and thus loosening of the seat belt attachment cannot be ruled out.
Action required: Check the screw connection for the belt end installing on the driver's seat and passenger seat and
replace the seat frame if necessary.
Please note that as of the time of this publication, only the Check instructions are available. If the seat
frames need to be replaced as a result of the check, the vehicle must be grounded at the dealer until such
time as the frames are available. Frames are not expected to be available until late January 2023.
Affected
Vehicles:
Only vehicles assigned to the campaign (see also PCSS Vehicle Information)
