Customer states:
• The MIL light is illuminated.
• The drive system warning lamp light is on.
• The engine does not start.
Workshop findings:
• One of the following DTC and symptom code combinations are stored in the Engine Control Module, J623
(address word 0001):
• P019100: Fuel pressure sensor implausible signal with Symptom code: 5652.
• P008700: Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too Low with Symptom code: 2838.
• P008800: Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High with Symptom code: 2837.

If Guided Fault Finding in ODIS yields no results for one of the DTC entries specified above, the test G265 –
“Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor” must also be performed.
Please add the test manually to the test plan and work through it as specified in ODIS.
Try to reproduce the customer complaint (based on the description/cause of the issue), so that it can be clearly
assigned to this TSB. The additional test must only be carried out if all the criteria (model/type, chassis number,
engine/motor and gearbox code, PR number(s), part number, software version, code, etc.) apply exactly.
Otherwise, this additional testing will not help to eliminate the problem, and repeat testing may be necessary. In
such a case, the warranty claim may be rejected..
