and Transaction Submission
Information
Lithium Ion batteries (packs and sections) must be
obtained through a GM authorized Battery Service
Center (BSC) (Electronic Service Center (ESC) in
Canada) for all repairs, and pre-approved through the
GM Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for full battery
packs on restriction. Once approved through TAC,
contact the following for part exchange:
• U.S. Dealers: Contact Speirs New Technologies
Battery Service Center (BSC) at (833) 334-6272.
• Canada Dealers: Contact York Electronic Service
Center (ESC) at (888) 650-9675.
Reference Information Table
The following reference information table is a summary
of model years, vehicles, components, applicable
bulletins, Labor Operations, and eligible Administrative
Allowances. This list is subject to change. Components
referenced in the table below are covered per the terms
of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty for a minimum
period of 8 years or 100,000 miles (160,000 km),
whichever comes first. Certain emissions coverages
may have a longer coverage period. Refer to the
vehicle’s Limited Warranty and Owner Assistance
Information booklet for warranty details.
Important: Select EV Batteries are under TAC
restriction and require TAC authorization for
replacement. Please refer to applicable bulletin
listed below for details and requirements.
