Customer states:
• The vehicle driver assistance systems are sporadically not working.
One of the following messages may be displayed in the instrument cluster:
• Audi adaptive light malfunction.
• Audi pre sense system malfunction.
• Adaptive vehicle assistance is restricted.
• Adaptive vehicle assistance Predictive regulation restricted.
After an ignition cycle or bus sleep, the systems are available again.

Technical Service Bulletin
The following DTC is stored sporadically in the driver assistance systems control module, J1121 (address word
00A5):
• DTC B200FF9 (internal malfunction) with symptom code 2117657.
Technical Background
The control module’s diagnostic checks are too sensitive.
Production Solution
Improved software in production.
Service
For MY19 and MY20 vehicles:
1. Delete the DTC B200FF9 and release the vehicle back to the customer.
2. Explain to the customer that the topic is still under investigation. At this time, no time estimate can be given as
the when a repair may be available. Do not replace any components for this condition since this will not
resolve the customer’s concern. This bulletin will be updated when more information is available.
3. Create a PSS record in the PSS application through the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link in AccessAudi
(under Related Links >> Service), or through the Technical Assistance page in Elsa.
For MY21 and MY22 vehicles:
Please follow the instructions in TSB 2069244: 90 Driver Assist Systems various improvements (DTC C12D5FA,
B200FF9, B107A16, intersection assist arrows flicker).
