SYMPTOM
Moisture is in the headlights.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The headlight seal may become damaged from a misadjusted hood. Damage to the headlight seal may lead to moisture
condensation building up in the headlight.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the headlight(s) with moisture condensation build up and readjust the hood stoppers.

NOTE: Due to part number variation for each model trim, you may manually add the headlight part number(s) to the
template.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Replace the affected headlight(s). See the service information, Headlight Removal and Installation.
2. Inspect the hood striker setting height. Loosen the 3 bolts and adjust the hood striker to the lower position. The
striker should sit below the 3 marks on each side.
3. Set both hood stopper’s height to the lowest setting position. Rotate the stoppers clockwise until it cannot be rotated
anymore. Mark the hood stoppers and brackets in the position shown.

4. Rotate the hood stoppers counterclockwise 1.5 turns (540°). After rotating 1.5 turns, measure the height of the
stopper to confirm the stopper height is 41mm on the passenger’s side and 37mm on the driver’s side.
