Technical Service Bulletin 91 Incorrect date (far in the future) shown on the instrument cluster and MMI 91 23 85 2067330/3 March 31, 2023. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 23-66 dated January 31, 2023, for reasons listed below. It is not possible to manually correct the date via the MMI. Technical Background A hardware issue in the emergency call module may cause the date to be incorrect. Production Solution Optimized software for the instrument cluster installed for production. Service Always use DoIP when flashing a control module via ODIS in supported vehicles. Technical Service Bulletin To Activate DoIP, select Administration>>General>>GFF Process>>DoIP communication>>Only allow DoIP communication. This setting will automatically reset when the diagnostic session is ended. You can tell if DoIP is active by observing a red LED on the VAS 6154(A). Perform the following steps in the specified sequence: 1. Order the emergency call module J949, (diagnostic address 0075) per ETKA. 2. Update the Audi virtual cockpit (diagnostic address 0017) using SVM code 17A046. Start the update on the workshop tester by selecting “flash” and entering the specified SVM code. Follow the instructions on the tester. 3. Disconnect the starter battery and then wait at least 5 minutes before performing the next step. 4. Replace the emergency call module J949, (diagnostic address 0075) with the one you have ordered. 5. Connect the starter battery again and then adapt the new emergency call module control unit and communication unit (J949, diagnostic address 0075) using the workshop tester. 6. Park the vehicle in a location with good mobile phone reception. 7. Switch the ignition off and then on again (terminal 15 reset). 8. The correct date should appear on the instrument cluster and the MMI immediately or after a short time. 9. If the correct date still has not appeared after one hour, check step 7 and then repeat step 8.
