Page 2 Involved Region or Country April, 2023 Bulletin No.: 23-NA-059 North America Condition 6307050 Some customers may comment on a gap at the door armrest decorative trim to the armrest/door switch. Cause The cause of the condition may be due to poor positioning. Correction Remove trim and loosen door switch from the door panel and re-tighten the switch while holding the switch in the proper position. When the trim is reinstalled the gap should be 1 mm or less. Service Procedure Important: Service agents must comply with all International, Federal, State, Provincial, and/or Local laws applicable to the activities it performs under this bulletin, including but not limited to handling, deploying, preparing, classifying, packaging, marking, labeling, and shipping dangerous goods. In the event of a conflict between the procedures set forth in this bulletin and the laws that apply to your dealership, you must follow those applicable laws. If you encounter a vehicle with the above concern, complete the following: 1. Remove the affected side door arm rest cover. Refer to the appropriate front or rear, Side Door Armrest Cover Trim Replacement in SI. 6307051 2. Loosen the three screws that secure the switch bezel to the effected door panel carrier. Refer to the proper Front/Rear Side Door Window Switch Replacement in Si. Bulletin No.: 23-NA-059 April, 2023 Page 3 3. Retighten the screws to (2.5Nm / 22Lb-In) starting from the front to the back. As you’re tightening, push down on the switch bezel so that the switch bezel makes hard contact to the door panel carrier as in this photo. Note: When the trim is reinstalled the gap should be 1 mm or less. 4. Reinstall the side door arm rest cover. Refer to the appropriate front or rear, Side Door Armrest Cover Trim Replacement in SI, and verify condition is corrected. Parts Information No parts are required for this repair.
