DESCRIPTION:
If remote control key is not detected by the car and shows message in DIM “Car key not found” or if
functions such as lock/unlock are not working, please follow advice under “Service”.
SERVICE:
If remote control key lock/unlock and/or keyless functions are not working but the car is detecting the
remote control key while placed in the cup holder next to the antenna (see attached picture “TJ33031.
jpg”), please measure voltage of the battery in the remote control key, if remote control key battery is
not OK replace battery, the battery voltage should be between 2.4-3.3 volt to be OK.
If remote control key lock/unlock and/or keyless functions are not working and the remote control key
is NOT detected while placed in the cup holder next to the antenna (see attached picture”TJ33031.
jpg”), please erase all concerned remote control keys and reprogram them to the car by downloading the
“Keyless Vehicle Key application” through VIDA.

Yes, please submit a Vehicle Report if the service solution described in this TJ has no effect. Use
concern area “Vehicle Report” and sub concern area “Support not needed”, use function group 3666.
