Customer states:
• Messages are shown in the instrument cluster: “Air suspension: system fault” or “Shock absorber
system/suspension”.
Workshop findings:
One or more of the following DTCs are logged as static in the suspension control unit J775 (diagnostic address
0074):
• B200FF0: Internal malfunction.
• B200FF1: Internal malfunction.
• B200FF3: Internal malfunction.
• B200FF4: Internal malfunction.
• B200FF5: Internal malfunction.

Service
Perform the following steps:
1. Unplug the diagnostic connector from the vehicle.
2. Switch off the ignition.
3. Lock the vehicle (doors, hood and rear lid closed).
4. Wait until the vehicle has entered bus sleep mode.
5. Unlock the vehicle.
6. Plug the diagnostic connector into the vehicle.
7. Switch on the ignition.
8. Attempt to erase the DTCs.
If the DTCs in question are still logged as static, follow the instructions in Guided Fault Finding.
