2021 MY Mach E (ADAS, APIM, BCM, FHCM, GFM, IPC) 4.3.2 Minor updates here and there. Small changes here and there to keep everything in tip-top shape. Ford Power-Up delivers software updates that are designed to make your Mustang® Mach-E® electric vehicle better over time. 2021 MY Mach E (ADAS, APIM, BCM, FHCM, GFM, IPC) Software Updates Have Been Made. 4.3.3 Several modifications have been made to improve the quality of your instrument panel and other features. There is nothing you need to do. Ford Power-Up software updates like this help us make improvements without the inconvenience of asking you to leave home. At Ford we value your satisfaction, and we respect your time. Smart Changes 2021 - 2022 MY Mach E (EVCM, HPCM, BECM, BCCM, AWDC, ABS) 4.2.6 We’ve made updates to your charge port connection. Displayed range has been adjusted to reflect what is possible with optimal driving practices. Recall 22S41 & 22S29 We upgraded software on your vehicle to protect high-voltage battery components from excessive heat generated during DC fast charging and repeated full throttle events. This completes safety recall 22S41. There is nothing you need to do. For those customers who received a letter about recall 22S29, this update also fixes a software glitch in your vehicle that could potentially cause unintended acceleration, unintended deceleration or unintended vehicle movement. This completes safety recall 22S29. There is nothing you need to do. 2021 MY Mach E (SYNC) 4.2.6 Ford BlueCruise Delivery, Plus Minor Changes If your Ford Mustang® Mach-E® is equipped with the Ford Co-Pilot360™ Active 2.0 Prep Package, your Ford BlueCruise hands-free highway driving feature has now been delivered. This completes what we call Product Improvement Program 21G01. There is nothing you need to do except enjoy the update. Ford BlueCruise allows you to drive hands-free on prequalified sections of divided highways called Hands-Free Blue Zones. You’ll know BlueCruise is active when your instrument lighting turns blue and the words “Hands-Free” appear with a steering wheel graphic. At that point, you can remove your hands from the steering wheel. Of course, you are still expected to keep your eyes on the road, and you'll be monitored by the driver-facing camera. Remember, your FordPass™ Connect modem must be connected for BlueCruise to work. See your Owner’s Manual for details. If you purchased the Mustang® Mach-E® Select but did not purchase the Comfort/Technology Package, then your vehicle does not have the hardware necessary to support BlueCruise. However, this update still prepares your vehicle for future upgrades. Note: You may have already received some of this functionality in a prior update, but this version has been fine-tuned and includes additional tweaks to other features. Ford Power-Up delivers software updates that are designed to make your Mustang® Mach-E® electric vehicle better over time.
