The Owner’s Manual that came with your vehicle contains important information. Your
continued satisfaction with your vehicle is as important to us as it is to you. That’s why we
are writing to you today with some important information about the emergency braking
function of the electronic parking brake.
Enclosed you will find a supplement for your Touareg Owner’s Manual. Please take some
time to review the information carefully and keep it with your Owner’s Manual kit so that it
will be at hand whenever needed. Please also keep in mind that the information in the
supplement on the electronic parking brake and the emergency braking function
supersedes the information in the corresponding section of your Touareg Owner’s
Manual.
Our Volkswagen dealers are also committed to your continued satisfaction. They know

If you are the lessor and registered owner of the vehicle identified in this letter, please
forward this information immediately via first-class mail to the lessee within ten (10) days
of receipt of this notification.
If you no longer own or lease this vehicle, please forward this letter and the enclosed
insert to the new owner, if known. And, if you have changed your address or sold the
vehicle, please fill out the enclosed prepaid owner reply card and mail it to us so we can
update our records.
