Technical Service Bulletin 44 Collapsible spare wheel does not inflate fully using the compressor from the vehicle tool kit 44 23 02 2065160/2 August 4, 2023. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 44 number 21-84 dated November 19, 2021 for reasons listed below. Model(s) Year VIN Range Vehicle-Specific Equipment All Not Applicable All Audi Vehicles 2020 – 2025 Condition REVISION HISTORY Revision Date Purpose 2 - Revised header (Added Model Years) 1 11/19/2022 Initial publication Customer states: • The temporary/collapsible spare wheel does not inflate fully when it is filled using the compressor from the breakdown set. The pressure specified on the collapsible spare wheel is not reached using the compressor. Technical Background The collapsible spare wheel is in suitable condition to use on the vehicle when the tire tread is aligned horizontally with the hub. When this is the case, the side wall of the collapsible spare wheel may not be aligned symmetrically with the rim, giving the impression that the tire has not inflated fully. The compressor reaches a pressure of 3.5 bar after running for a certain period; this is sufficient for using the tire (Figures 1 - 2). © 2023 Audi of America, Inc. Page 1 of 2 All rights reserved.
