Customer states:
• The temporary/collapsible spare wheel does not inflate fully when it is filled using the compressor from the
breakdown set. The pressure specified on the collapsible spare wheel is not reached using the compressor.
Technical Background
The collapsible spare wheel is in suitable condition to use on the vehicle when the tire tread is aligned horizontally
with the hub. When this is the case, the side wall of the collapsible spare wheel may not be aligned symmetrically
with the rim, giving the impression that the tire has not inflated fully. The compressor reaches a pressure of 3.5
bar after running for a certain period; this is sufficient for using the tire (Figures 1 - 2).
