If a comfort or body control module is replaced during normal diagnosis, make sure
the factory mode has been switched OFF. This can be accomplished by selecting
guided function of either the J393 or J519 or control module OBD of J393 or J519
then selecting adaptation channel 99.
Failure to deactivate factory mode will create a concern where the door locks will not
lock and/or unlock with the switch and/or the remotes.

Be advised that when replacing a window switch on the listed models, that the switch
is not damaged during the removal process. It is preferred to use a bone tool to
remove the switch from the housing as opposed to a screwdriver, to prevent the risk
of the repair being debited (see examples below). It is also recommended to remove
the window switch prior to removal of a door trim panel. This is in order to avoid the
weight of the trim damaging the switch or the wire harness. Always check the
connections and wiring prior to replacement of the switch.

When replacing the Air Conditioning compressor it is necessary to flush the entire
system to remove all the PAG oil. Replacement AC compressors come with a full
charge of oil. Any time another compressor is installed with a different vendor
(Sanden to Denso) it is necessary to replace all the oil in the system to the new
vendor type PAG oil.
Note:
AC Compressors come with a full oil charge, after flushing the refrigerant
circuit no oil needs to be added during recharging. Always verify the oil
amount in the new AC compressor.
