the vehicle. When adapting the keys,
the following message appears in the
immobilizer test plan:
“The parameterization on the
following control module could not
be performed:
0046- central module of comfort
system
Status: 13 / Security access denied
…” (Figure 1).

Technical Background
Infrastructure upgrades to the backend systems require the temporary use of a SVM code during key adaptation.
Production Solution
Once backend updates are completed, this TSB will be retired and the normal adaptation process will resume.
Service
If the message above is displayed during the immobilizer test plan, follow the steps below:
1. Re-start the immobilizer test plan.
2. Follow all on screen prompts.
3. When asked: “Check whether an SVM code exists, select option “2 - SVM code available”.
4. Enter SVM code UNECEKW2944.
5. Continue immobilizer test plan as normal.
