Workshop Findings:
As part of a repair, the high-voltage battery was opened. During this repair it was found that one of the
high-voltage connectors is wrapped with an adhesive tape (see Figure 1).

Technical Background
The high-voltage connector that is wrapped with adhesive tape is positioned opposite the coolant
connections of the high-voltage battery (see Figure 2).
The adhesive tape serves to improve the dielectric strength (insulation). Therefore, the adhesive tape
must not be removed under any circumstances.
Note:
The adhesive tape has been intentionally applied and must not be removed!
