Condition
Customer states:
• The radio plays while the vehicle is parked.
• This can happen with the MMI screen being on, or off.
Workshop findings:
• No relevant DTCs are stored.
• The complaint occurs very sporadically and may be difficult to reproduce.

Technical Service Bulletin
A software issue may cause the radio to continue playing when the vehicle is parked. It will shut off after about 15
minutes and therefore should not impact the vehicle’s 12V battery SoC excessively.
Production Solution
Not applicable.
Service
1. Explain to the customer that a solution is expected to be available by the end of the 4th quarter of 2024 (subject
to change) and that no repairs are necessary at this point. Do not replace any components for this condition
since this will not resolve the customer’s concern.
2. Create a PSS record in the PSS application through the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link in AccessAudi
(under Related Links >> Service).
