Workshop findings:
• No visible engine oil traces/leaks are present.
• Oil consumption testing (executed in ODIS) has determined oil consumption to be over the allowed limit.
• No technical reason for oil loss can be determined.

After watching the training videos, the online assessment must be completed through Audi Certification and
Resource Center (CRC).
Please always follow the repair process steps outlined in the workshop manual/ELSA.
Before attempting the repair service solution, the follow steps must be completed:
• Confirm that there are no visible engine oil traces and/ or leaks present.
• Perform an oil consumption test in ODIS in order to confirm that the engine is consuming engine oil over the
allowed limit. Please refer to TSB 2059366 for additional instructions.
• Upload both GFF logs (i.e. Part 1 and Part 2) of the ODIS oil consumption test to GFF paperless.
• Confirm that oil consumption is over the allowed limit as per oil consumption test (executed in ODIS).
• Enter all of information that the ODIS tester prompts for entry, (e.g. driving profile data and Long-term memory
of trip computer data). Photos must also be taken and uploaded to DOCIT.

If the conditions mentioned above are met, and the technical reason for engine oil loss cannot be determined,
proceed with replacing all 8 of the pistons and piston rings as follows:
Power Class 4 with Engine Code CXYA
• Bank 1 Pistons (piston rings included with pistons) : 0P2 107 066 L
• Bank 2 Pistons (piston rings included with pistons) : 0P2 107 065 L
Power Class 5 with Engine Codes CWWB, DWKA, DCUE, DWRB, DJPB, DWLA
• Bank 1 Pistons (piston rings included with pistons) : 0P2 107 066 M
• Bank 2 Pistons (piston rings included with pistons) : 0P2 107 065 M
