Issue Description
An oil filler neck was installed on the affected vehicles
which might not allow the oil filler cap to be screwed
on properly. If the oil filler cap is not screwed on properly, it is possible that engine oil could enter the service area of the engine compartment via the oil filler
neck during vehicle operation.
In order to ensure proper screw connection of the oil
filler cap, the oil filler neck must be replaced with an
optimized version.
What should Porsche Centers do?
Please arrange for this measure to be carried out as
soon as possible on affected vehicles.
As of the time of this posting (11/9/23) the remedy
is now available.
The oil filler neck must be ordered via PPL with a
PRMS Parts Support Ticket for release. All other
supporting parts can be ordered as normal.
