SERVICE:
Please follow these steps:
1. Verify the symptom and DTC’s. (BCM B111167 / B111177)
2. Perform a Total upgrade.
Note: After above steps you may still have a parking brake message with a different DTC.
If DTC VDDM-U2D7792 and the warning message persist after performing the above steps
then continue to steps 3, 4, 5.
3. Manually order and download software part number 32429456 (applicable to all models and
free of charge).
4. Download the available Total Upgrade.
5. Verify that the warning message is no longer present and confirm proper functionality of the
parking brake.

To get warranty claim accepted for a job described in this TJ, please use following data:
