K4C - Wireless Charger
Some customers with an Apple iPhone 15 may comment that after updating to iOS
17.1 that they are no longer able to charge their phone when using the vehicle’s built
in wireless charger.
Cause
The cause of this concern is unknown and GM Engineering is looking into the issue.
Correction:
At this time, no repairs should be made as GM engineering is looking into the issue. If a customer opts not to
upgrade their iPhone 15 to iOS 17.1, the wireless charger will continue to function. If their phone is already at iOS
17.1, then their phone still can be charged using the wired connection to the vehicle.
