Customer states:
• The customer has a complaint regarding the emergency call module (OCU).
Workshop findings:
• The workshop considers cross swapping the OCU with a working unit from another vehicle to help
diagnose the customer’s concern.

Service
• Cross swapping the OCU in between vehicles is currently not allowed.
• Due to the way the embedded SIM is connected to the Audi Backend systems, it is not possible to install
an OCU in another vehicle once it has been installed.
• Installing a previously installed OCU in another vehicle will cause the data in the Audi Backend system to
become corrupted and may render the connect features of the vehicle inoperative.
