Customer states:
The MIL is on.
Workshop findings:
The following DTCs may be stored in the ECM J623, (address word 0001):
• DTC P148D00 (P148D): “Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump implausible frequency”
And/or
• DTC P044200 (P0442): “EVAP Emission Control System (Small Leak) Leak Detected”
No other relevant DTC entries must be logged.
Technical Background
Software issue in the ECM -J623- (address word 0001).
For configuration-related reasons, the DTC P0442 (P044200) “Small leak detected” may be stored in the ECM
although there are no leaks in the fuel tank system.
Production Solution
Improved software gradually introduced in production.

Always use DoIP when flashing a control module via ODIS in supported vehicles.
To Activate DoIP, select Administration>>General>>GFF Process>>DoIP communication>>Only allow
DoIP communication
This setting will automatically reset when the diagnostic session is ended.
You can tell if DoIP is active by observing a red LED on the VAS 6154(A)
1. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the 0001 (J623) using the SVM action code as listed in the table below, if necessary.
3. Make sure there are no leaks in the fuel system.
