The pulsation may return within 1,000 miles after the rotors were replaced to correct the concern. Customer painted wheels , paint on wheel hub surface causing pulsation due to the hub not being true. Correction: Inspect wheels for being painted Above Image of Customer Painted Wheel - Note: Black Wheels not o ered as OEM. Above Image shows paint on the hub surface of the wheel, this paint may also get transferred to the hub bearing surface. The paint on the hub surface caused the lateral run out to be .001 over spec of .002 which was enough to cause thickness variation of the rotors. If customer painted wheels are found to be the cause of the concern, the wheel and hub bearing surfaces will need to be cleaned of paint, thickness variation of the rotors checked and replaced if out of speci cation.
