Repair the main wire harness.
3.1
Uncover the wire harness at the damaged location.
Information
If the cable runs through the grommet, it must be spliced. Activities are prohibited in the area
of the grommet.
Information
Make sure that the line is not repaired at tight
points  Constriction for main wire harness
-Arrows- with a crimp connection.
Due to the increase in the cross-section at this
point, the luggage compartment trim panel
may squeeze the wire harness. In this case,
disconnect the line at a different location
and reroute it up to the plug. These additional activities can be invoiced using a reimConstriction for main wire harness
bursement claim for the original campaign claim. Document graphically and/or attach corresponding damage in the PQIS line.
3.2
Remove the insulating tape from around the wire harness and cut through each of the
damaged lines at the chafing point using side cutters or the VAS 1978/3 stripping
