Technical Service Bulletin 94 PSS Headlight warning in cluster, DTC : B126A29, U110B00 stored in 09 module 94 24 77 2073612/1 April 8, 2024. Model(s) Year VIN Range Vehicle-Specific Equipment All Not Applicable A3, S3, RS 3, Q4 e-tron quattro, 2022 - 2025 and Q4 Sportback e-tron Q4 e-tron RWD 2023 - 2025 Condition Customer states: Intermittently a warning light for the exterior lighting or adaptive light is displayed in the instrument cluster. The lighting system continues to work as it should. Workshop findings: All lighting functions continue to work properly. The following DTCs are stored in the Onboard supply control unit, -J519- (address word 0009): • DTC B126A29 Light switch range/performance • DTC U112100 Databus missing message • DTC U110B00 Light switch no communication Technical Background Diagnostics too sensitive in the J519. Production Solution This bulletin will be updated when more information is available. A solution is currently under development. Service If only DTC U110B00 “Light switch no communication” is stored, the cause of the fault may be a loose pin or wire. In this case this TSB does not apply, carry out normal diagnosis. Proceed with the steps below only if all DTC’s described above are stored. 1. Explain to the customer that a solution is expected to be available by the end of the 4th quarter of 2024 (subject to change) and that no repairs are necessary at this point. Technical Service Bulletin 2. Create a PSS record in the PSS application through the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link in AccessAudi (under Related Links >> Service). The customer can temporarily resolve the concern by pressing the “AUTO” button on the light switch. This will reset the fault detection and cause the warning lamp to go out.
