  • USA Recall: The damaged housings could crack and fracture, creating road debris and disabling the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
    Nissan north america, inc. (nissan) is recalling certain model year 2014 infiniti q50 hybrid vehicles manufactured october 16, 2013, to january 27, 2014, and infiniti q70 hybrid vehicles manufactured november 7, 2013, to december 10, 2013. the affected vehicles may have been assembled with transmissions whose housings were damaged during their manufacturing.

    Corrective Action:
    Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the transmission assembly and replace it if cracks are found, free of charge. the recall began on november 10, 2014. owners may contact nissan customer service at 1- 800-647-7261.
