    On e350 shuttle buses the retainer straps for the midship fuel tanks are attached to two fuel tank crossmember supports. these supports may be susceptible to durability fractures at the inboard attachment locations for the straps. if the supports at the inboard attachments were to fracture,the fuel tank would drop about one inch before being restrained by the rigid straps and create the potential for fuel spillage.
