    On certain motorcycles, if contrary to the instructions in the owner's manual, the engine is left running at an increased speed above idle (e.g., by operating the choke longer than necessary to obtain a smooth idle) while the vehicle is stationary, it is possible for the temperature of the exhaust system to rise considerably and cause fairing components to catch fire. correction: a warning label to be installed on affected vehicles and an owner's manual insert with additional warning will be mailed to owners.
