  • CA Recall: Engine
    On certain amg s63 models, the engine may stall due to faulty software in the engine control unit (ecu). irregular rpm at idle could lead to unintentional engine shut-down prior to a vehicle stop. if this occurs, the driver may falsely interpret the unintentional engine shut down as part of the eco start/stop system, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. correction: dealers will update the ecu software.
