    Certain vehicles equipped with an anti-lock brake system (abs) and without electronic stability control (esc) may not comply with canada motor vehicle safety standard (cmvss) 105 - hydraulic and electric brake systems. the brake system indicator tell-tale may not illuminate during the lamp function check when the ignition is initially turned to the “on” (run) position, which is contrary to the requirements of the standard. correction: dealers will correct the coding of the instrument cluster software.
