    On certain vehicles equipped with 1.4l engines, there may be a software calibration fault in the powertrain control module (pcm) which could cause a delayed throttle response to accelerate or maintain vehicle speed. a loss of vehicle propulsion could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. correction: dealers will reprogram the pcm with revised software.
