  • CA Recall: Electrical
    Issue: on certain trucks equipped with a gasoline engine, the engine wiring harness (egi) may not have been assembled correctly. as a result, an exposed wire could cause a short circuit. if this happens, the engine could stall and/or there could be electrical arcing. safety risk: a sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. electrical arcing could damage surrounding material and increase the risk of a fire. corrective actions: nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to inspect the egi harness and replace it with a new one if it is damaged. if no damage is found, the harness will be reassembled correctly.
