  Nissan north america, inc. (nissan) is recalling certain 2020-2023 titan, 2020-2022 frontier, and 2023 z vehicles. The transmission parking pawl may not engage when the vehicle is shifted into park, which can result in a vehicle rollaway.
  owners are advised to apply the parking brake every time they park their vehicle. Dealers will perform the applicable repairs below, free of charge: ?   Issue: certain vehicles were built with tires that may have been cured too long. As a result, the sidewall could crack or the tread and belts could separate. This could lead to a sudden loss of air pressure and could cause a tire failure. Note: this recall only affects certain continental tires, with specific date codes and mold numbers. Safety risk: a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: nissan will notify the owners by mail and instruct them to take the vehicle to a dealer to inspect and replace the tires, if necessary.

• Recall 2020603 [Canada]: Electrical
  Issue: on certain trucks equipped with a gasoline engine, the engine wiring harness (egi) may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, an exposed wire could cause a short circuit. If this happens, the engine could stall and/or there could be electrical arcing. Safety risk: a sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Electrical arcing could damage surrounding material and increase the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to inspect the egi harness and replace it with a new one if it is damaged. If no damage is found, the harness will be reassembled correctly.

I was sitting at a light waiting to turn left. The engine started to idle at almost 2000 toms. I went to accelerate to turn left and i had complete loss of power in the intersection. The engine would not go above idle speed of about 1100 rpm. The check engine light came on. I had to pull over. The code reader says the idle air controller has a fault. This is the second time this has happened but the first time it happened.In a dangerous intersection.

The dash blinks out and resets when driving, especially when we are charging our phones. We were told by our dealer's service department (after keeping our truck 2 days) that it was our chargers. So we bought new chargers and the problem continued. We bought new phones as well, same issue. They have had our truck 10 days now and we have no answers. The issue occurs when the vehicle is in motion.

In january 2021, i took the vehicle in due to tire separation and was told to take to a tire dealer. I had the general grabber apt on my titan. I went to a tire dealer and found i had 3 out of 4 tires that were defective. One could be prorated but the others were not. I ended up purchasing a brand new set of tires and due to the issue on these tires with less that 3000 miles on them, i purchased a different brand altogether. I went to the dealer in april for an issue and found that nissan has started to replace these tires based upon a recall. I am now out the money that i paid after i had complained that this tire had already had a safety issue yet now the manufacturer of the tire is replacing them. I have no problem sending the receipt of the tires purchased but will wait until asked.
