2016 MAZDA CX-5 with 19000.0 miles

On 07/28/2017, air bag light on instrument cluster began to flash while driving also the passenger side was occupied. Lasted until vehicle was turned off. Mazda dealer found code B00A0 for passenger occupant detection system. They reset the code and tested air bag system, they stated that all systems pass test. On 10/16/2017, air bag light on instrument cluster began to flash and the warning beeping start up while driving also the passenger side was not occupied. I considered this is a serious safety issue and need to be reported. I recorded videos.

2015 NISSAN VERSA NOTE with 60000.0 miles

The airbag light will not go off. Code: B00A0. Attempted to reset the airbag light and it did not help. Checked the connection to the ocsm. Unplugged it and plugged it bag in. Airbag light is still continuously blinking. It blinks when there is a passenger and when there isn't a passenger. This has been an ongoing issue.

2014 NISSAN ALTIMA with 8115.0 miles

Hello, i have taken my brand new Nissan Altima 2014 4 times to the dealership for the problem Nissan has been having. When there is someone over the weight limit sitting in the passenger side the air bag light that indicates if its on or off does not come off. Stating that the airbag is off even though someone is sitting in he passenger side with the weight requirement. It all started on 11/10/14 and was told nothing was wrong, took it again on 1/14/15 and they said they found a code ( B00A0-00) indicating the airbag would turn off. They told me they fixed the problem by replacing the sensor and control unit and performed zero point reset. The problem came back again on 2/3/15 and was told that there is nothing wrong and that if it happens just pull over and turn off the car until the lights turn off and does not come back on. Took it again for the same problem in march and was told that they could not do nothing even though they knew it was not working as intended.

2014 NISSAN LEAF with 5506.0 miles

Front passenger air bag off light comes on even with a 150lb passenger sitting in the seat. This happened multiple times. Dealer identified it as a code dtc B00A0-00 stored in airbag system, with occupant sensor having abnormal voltage.

2013 FORD F-150 with 5.0 miles

The vehicle has two "types" of problem that may be related. In some cases, the truck drops down into 1st gear regardless of the speed. This has happened three times since i picked up the truck following the attempted recall repair, but none of these incidences of dropping into 1st gear caused error codes to pop up. In another "type" of incident, the speedometer drops to zero even while in motion, and the vehicle stays in 3rd gear no matter the speed (including when not in motion, even after shifting into park and back to drive, the vehicle automatically jumps to 3rd gear before i even start to move). During this second type of incident, the airbag light came on, as did the wrench/check engine light. This second type of incident triggered many error codes: U0401:68-48 B00A0:68-08 U0401:00-08 P0722:00-68 U0401:86-08 U0401:00-08 U0401:68-08 B1083:07-08 U0423:00-28

2013 NISSAN SENTRA with 12000.0 miles

The driver airbag light stays on, on the dashboard. It turns on when i start the car and it stays on. One day it was off when i first turned on the car, but as i drove a couple of blocks it turned on. I went to a mechanic and he ran a diagnostics and it came back with code B00A0-00 occupant detection system data 4 sensor - history fault. He suggested i go back to Nissan. Nissan told me there are no recalls and i would have to first pay $180.00 for them to run a diagnostic test and then pay for any repairs. I am concerned as this is a safety issue, i am not sure if the drivers air bag will deploy. I have never been in an accident with this car and it has low mileage about 12,200 miles. Also, i hade the front passenger air bag status light operation recall fixed in 2016.

2009 MAZDA TRIBUTE with 76885.0 miles

Airbag light illuminated. Took it to the dealer scanned code B00A0, ocs malfunction. Said i had to replace entire passenger seat cushion at roughly $3500.Found that this unaffordably mandatory problem occurs in many Mazdas, among other vehicles. The car has never been in an accident, the bags have never been deployed. The car is less than 10 years old. Meanwhile the system may not deployed when called upon and i am unable to get a safety check or register the car
