Water intrusion into one or both rear combination lamp assemblies has been found to migrate through the harness, and can cause harness connector terminals in C1/E41 to corrode (Figure 1 on page 2). Repair any damaged rear combination lamp assemblies immediately to avoid potential harness damage. Harness connector terminals in C1/E41 found to be damaged through water intrusion due to a damaged rear combination lamp assembly is not warrantable. Nissan Bulletins are intended for use by qualified technicians, not 'do-it-yourselfers'. Qualified technicians are properly trained individuals who have the equipment, tools, safety instruction, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. NOTE: If you believe that a described condition may apply to a particular vehicle, DO NOT assume that it does. See your Nissan dealer to determine if this applies to your vehicle. 1/2 Water enters through damaged rear combination lamp assembly and migrates through harness Figure 1 AMENDMENT HISTORY PUBLISHED DATE REFERENCE October 6, 2021 NTB21-093 DESCRIPTION Original bulletin published 2/2 NTB21-093
