  • CA Recall: Brakes
    Issue: on a certain motorhome, the brake pedal may not be equipped with a return spring. as a result, the pedal may not fully return when it is released. if this happens, the brake lights may stay on. if a trailer is connected to the motorhome, this could also cause the trailer brakes to remain on. safety risk: brake lights that stay on could cause other road users not to recognize when the vehicle is braking. this could increase the risk of a crash. trailers brakes that do not release could also increase the risk of a crash. corrective actions: rev group will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to a daimler trucks north america (dtna) authorized service facility to inspect the adjustable brake pedal assembly and install the missing return spring, if necessary.
