  • Recall 234293 [USA]: A wiring harness that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
    Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2020-2021 entegra launch, qwest, jayco melbourne, and melbourne prestige motorhomes. The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (hvac) blower motor circuit may be inadequate, which can allow the wiring harness to overheat.
    owners are advised to only operate the hvac front blower in manual (not automatic) mode whenever the engine is on. Do not use the maximum blower or lowest/highest temperature settings until the remedy is performed. Dealers will relocate and replace the fuse and wiring harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed august 18, 2023. Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

  • Recall 248239 [USA]: Vehicle rollaway increases the risk of a crash.
    Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2023 entegra launch, launch le, qwest, jayco melbourne, melbourne prestige, terrain, and terrain le motorhomes. The guide bushing on the parking pawl may fatigue, which can cause the parking pawl not to engage and result in a vehicle rollaway.
    dealers will update the software of the electronic stability, transmission control, direct select module, and electronic ignition switch control units, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed march 8, 2023. Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is mb 22v-796.

  • Recall 156668 [USA]: If the wiring harness is damaged, the side air bag within the seat may deploy unexpectedly or not deploy as designed in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury to vehicle occupants.
    Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2020-2021 jayco melbourne, melbourne prestige and entegra qwest motorhomes built on sprinter chassis and equipped with swivel seats. The wiring harnesses for the front seats may have been routed incorrectly and could become jammed and damaged in the swivel seat frames.
    jayco will notify owners, and mercedes-benz sprinter dealers will inspect the wire harness routing for both front seats and will repair the wiring and add clips or cable ties as needed, free of charge.   • Recall 148524 [USA]: Loss of brake fluid can extend the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
    Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2021 entegra qwest and jayco melbourne and melbourne prestige motorhomes built on mercedes-benz sprinter chassis. The rear part of the fender liner on the front axle may contact and chafe the brake hose, possibly resulting in a loss of brake fluid.
    jayco will notify owners, and mercedes sprinter dealers will inspect and replace the brake hoses, and the fender liners will be modified, free of charge. The recall began july 14, 2020. Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137.

  • Recall 149726 [USA]: If the window glass detaches while the vehicle is moving it could become a projectile, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.
    Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2020 motorized alante, greyhawk, melbourne, precept, redhawk, seneca, accolade, emblem, esteem, odyssey, qwest, and vision recreational vehicles. The adhesive bond between the glass and the metal hinge frame of the frameless crank out vent and egress windows may fail which would then allow the glass to detach and fall out.
    jayco will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the frameless windows for proper adhesive bond strength, replacing the windows as necessary, free of charge. This recall began june 15, 2020.   • Recall 156041 [USA]: If the driver relies on the auto-p function as described in the operator's manual, vehicle rollaway or movement may occur, increasing the risk of a crash.
    Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2020 entegra qwest and 2019-2021 jayco melbourne and melbourne prestige class c motorhomes built on mercedes-benz sprinter chassis. The operator's manual may not contain the correct information about how the automatic parking function ("auto-p") operates.
    jayco will notify owners, and mercedes-benz or freightliner sprinter dealers will provide the correct description of the auto-p function for the operator's manual, free of charge. This recall began may 19, 2020. Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137 or sprinter service at 1-877-762-8267. The booklet with correct information is also available online, free of charge.

  • Recall 142176 [USA]: If the lp tank dislodges while the motorhome is in transit, it can increase the risk of a crash with the ignition of the propane.
    Entegra coach (entegra) is recalling certain 2018-2020 qwest motorhomes. The liquid propane (lp) tank hangers may be the wrong size and have insufficient welding, allowing the lp tank to dislodge.
    entegra has notified owners, and dealers will install a support bracket on each side of the propane tank, free of charge. The recall began december 9, 2019. Owners may contact entegra customer service at 1-800-517-9137. Entegra's number for this recall is 9903502.

  • Recall 2020367 [Canada]: Airbag
    Issue: on certain motorhomes equipped with front swivel-seats, the wiring harness under the seat may not be properly secured. As a result, the wiring harness could be damaged when the seat is moved. If this happens, the side airbag may not work properly in a crash. It could also cause the side airbag to deploy suddenly without a crash. Note: if the wiring to the side airbag is damaged, the srs light will stay on in the instrument cluster. Safety risk: an airbag that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the routing of the seat wiring harness. The dealer will add clips or cable ties to properly secure the wiring harness to the seat, if necessary.

  • Recall 2020258 [Canada]: Structure
    Issue: on certain motorhomes equipped with frameless windows, the glass may not be properly attached to the metal hinges. As a result, the glass could separate from the hinge and fall from the trailer. Safety risk: a window that detaches from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect the adhesive bonding on the window glass. Dealers will replace the glass, if necessary.

  • Recall 2019596 [Canada]: Structure
    Issue: on certain motorhomes, the hangers that secure the propane tank may have been manufactured incorrectly and could fail. As a result, the propane tank could detach and fall under the motorhome while driving. Safety risk: a propane tank that detaches from the motorhome could create a road hazard for others and could result in a fire or explosion. Corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to install an improved support bracket on each side of the propane tank. You are advised to not fill the propane tank beyond 50% until the repairs are completed.
