Rev recreation group (rev) is recalling certain 2018 fleetwood axon and pulse, holiday rambler reno and prodigy, monaco marquis and american coach american dream motorhomes, 2017-2018 fleetwood bounder, discovery, discovery lxe, flair, jamboree, southwind, pace arrow, pace arrow lxe and storm motorhomes, holiday rambler admiral xe, endeavor, endeavor xe, navigator xe, navigator, vacationer, vacationer xe and vesta and american coach american eagle motorhomes and 2017 holiday rambler scepter, monaco diplomat, and american coach american revolution motorhomes. The mounting screws for the satellite dish may not have been fastened through the sheet steel reinforcement, possibly allowing the satellite dish to detach from the roof while driving. rev will notify owners, and dealers will resecure the satellite dish to the roof with a metal reinforcement, free of charge. The recall began on may 14, 2018. Owners may contact rev customer service at 1-800-509-3417. Rev's number for this recall is 180322rev. Note: this recall supersedes recall 17v-802. Recall 134654 [USA]: If the potentiometer wires detach and are reconnected incorrectly, there is an increased risk of a fire.
Rev recreation group (rev) is recalling certain 2018 american coach american dream and american revolution motorhomes, fleetwood discovery, discovery lxe, pace arrow and pace arrow lxe motorhomes, holiday rambler endeavor, endeavor xe, navigator and navigator xe motorhomes and monaco marquis and signature motorhomes equipped with an aurora heating, ventilation and air conditioning (hvac) system. The wires for the hvac system potentiometer may become disconnected from the quick connect terminals. rev will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the potentiometer and solder the wires or replace the control panel, if necessary, free of charge. Recall 124415 [USA]: If the headlamp lens is not tempered, it may crack or break, which may cause decreased illumination and/or premature failure of the headlight bulb, increasing the risk of a crash.
Rev recreation group (rev) is recalling certain 2017-2018 fleetwood discovery and discovery lxe, and holiday rambler endeavor, endeavor xe, and admiral xe motorhomes, as well as 2018 monaco diplomat, fleetwood pace arrow, bounder, flair, and storm motorhomes, and holiday rambler navigator and vacationer xe motorhomes. The affected vehicles may have been manufactured with headlights that do not have tempered glass lenses. rev recreation group will notify owners, and authorized rev dealers will inspect, and if necessary, replace non-tempered, defective headlamp lenses with new headlamp lenses, free of charge. Issue: certain motorhomes built on a freightliner chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted power distribution module (pdm). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly. Note: this recall replaces fl-856 (transport canada recall 2020-337). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety risk: brake lights or turn signals that do not work could cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: rev group will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

Issue: on certain motorhomes, the tire valve stem extensions for the inner wheels may get damaged by contact with the outer wheels. If this happens, the inner tire could lose air pressure. This could overload the outer tire and cause it to fail. Note: this recall replaces fl-861 (transport canada recall 2020-493). Motorhomes that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety risk: a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: rev group will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a daimler trucks north america (dtna) authorized service facility to remove the inner valve stem extensions.

Rev group will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a daimler trucks north america (dtna) authorized service facility to inspect and adjust the inner wheel valve stem stabilizers, as needed. The inner valve stems will be replaced, if required.

Issue: certain motorhomes built on a freightliner chassis could have a problem with the rear-mounted power distribution module (pdm). This could cause the tail lights not to work properly. Note: this is an expansion of recall 2018-615. Vehicles that had an inspection, but did not have the pdm replaced under the previous recall, require a second repair under this recall. Safety risk: brake lights, marker lights or turn signals that do not work properly could make the vehicle less visible. They could also cause a following driver not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: rev recreation group will notify owners by mail and provide a letter from daimler trucks north america (dtna). This letter will instruct owners to take their motorhome to a dtna authorized service facility to replace the pdm.

Correction: dealers will inspect and secure the satellite dish to the roof with metal reinforcement brackets and rivets as necessary.
Recall 2018145 [Canada]: Electrical
On certain motorhomes, the wiring for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (hvac) system could become disconnected. If the wiring for the hvac system's potentiometer were to become disconnected, there is a risk that the wiring may be reconnected improperly, which could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will inspect the hvac controller’s existing potentiometer, and either solder the wires or replace the control panel, as necessary. Note: owners are advised that if the hvac control panel becomes inoperable for any reason, to not use it or attempt any repairs. It must be inspected and if necessary, repaired or replaced by a certified rev recreation group dealer technician.

On certain motorhomes built on a freightliner chassis equipped with air disc brakes, the brake caliper mounting bolts may be incorrectly torqued. This could result in the caliper bolts loosening, which could lead to the caliper detaching. Insufficiently torqued fasteners may not provide adequate clamping force between the brake caliper and brake anchor plate potentially resulting in reduced brake effectiveness, which would result in increased stopping distances, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: daimler trucks of north america service facilities will inspect the bolts, and repair as necessary.

The body of our class a motor home is breaking loose from the freightliner chassis. The welds on the four front attachment brackets have broken apart. The front 10 to 15 feet of the body is detached from the frame and bounces around. The front and back of the rig have moved and are approximately 3/4" out of alignment with the frame (front moved towards driver-back towards passanger).
