• Recall 195509 [USA]: The misalignment may cause the propeller shaft to separate, causing a loss of power to the rear wheels and a stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
  Isuzu technical center of america, inc. (isuzu) is recalling certain 2015-2017 isuzu npr, reach, 2016-2020 isuzu npr xd, npr hd, nqr, 2016-2021 isuzu nrr, 2017-2020 chevrolet 4500xd, 4500hd, 5500hd, and 2020 chevrolet 5500xd vehicles. The u-bolt nuts for the rear axle may not have been properly tightened and may loosen, causing the axle to misalign.
  isuzu will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, if needed, replace and tighten the rear axle u-bolt nuts, free of charge. The recall began on april 23, 2021. Owners may contact isuzu customer service at 1-866-441-9638. Isuzu's number for this recall is v2103.

• Recall 134197 [USA]: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
  Isuzu technical center of america, inc. (isuzu) is recalling certain 2011-2017 isuzu npr, 2008 npr hd and npr-hd gas, 2011-2018 npr hd and nrr, 2015-2018 npr xd, 2012-2018 nqr, 2012-2017 npr gas and npr-hd gas, 2016-2017 chevrolet low cab forward 3500 hd, 3500 and 4500 and 2017-2018 chevrolet low cab forward 4500 hd, 4500 xd, 5500 hd and 5500 xd vehicles, equipped with certain walter kidde plastic-handle fire extinguishers, models fc10 and fc110. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.
  isuzu will notify owners, instructing them to contact kidde to get a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in december 2017.   Isuzu technical center of america, inc. (isuzu) is recalling certain 2015-2017 npr hd, npr xd, nqr and nrr trucks. During manufacturing, the stamping equipment may have created burrs on the frame crossmember that the transmission is mounted to. These burrs may cause the transmission mounting studs to break.

• Recall 124070 [USA]: A stuck open accelerator pedal may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop the vehicle, which could cause a crash, serious injury or death.

(isuzu) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 isuzu npr and npr hd vehicles manufactured august 26, 2013, to november 11, 2016, and 2016 chevrolet low cab forward 3500 and 4500 vehicles manufactured july 27, 2016, to november 11, 2016. The affected vehicles have a throttle pedal that may get stuck under the steel stopper bolt, causing the pedal to remain in the full throttle position. Note: in gasoline models only.

(isuzu) is recalling certain 2012-2016 npr, npr-hd, npr-xd, nqr, and nrr diesel trucks manufactured november 24, 2011, to july 24, 2015, and 2012-2015 npr and npr-hd gasoline-powered trucks manufactured october 5, 2011, to august 27, 2015. The trucks may have been equipped with certain kidde plastic valve disposable handheld fire extinguishers, model fc10, that may not properly discharge when the lever is pressed.

  On certain vehicles with gasoline powered engines, the accelerator pedal could move laterally, allowing the accelerator pedal bracket to be hung up on the stopper bolt on the floor panel bracket. This would cause the accelerator pedal to remain in the open position, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. • Unintended movement investigation # PE19005

  The office of defects investigation (odi) opened this investigation on april 19, 2020. Odi was made aware of seven consumer complaints related to model year (my) 2012-2015 isuzu n-series gasoline-powered trucks for unintended movement. Odi worked with isuzu and peer manufacturers to understand the severity, failure mechanism and frequency of the issue. Attached is a report outlining these details, in addition to the investigations chronology. This investigation is being closed with isuzu releasing a technical service bulletin (tsb), with owner notification, to resolve the unintended movement issue in my 2012-2017 vehicles. The closing of this investigation does not constitute a finding by nhtsa that a safety-related defect does not exist. I had my 2015 isuzu truck towed for service to the isuzu dealership (1463 us-22, mountainside, nj 07092) where i leased it. Even though the truck was brought in due to a problem with the engine that was covered under the truck's warrantee, they forced me to spend over $1000 on a new tire and many other "needed" repairs so the truck could pass federal inspection. Upon picking up the truck, it had no inspection sticker and they slapped one on in less than 5 minutes and could not have inspected the truck. When the technician finally came out to my property at 206 tyler road, edison nj 08820, he took the truck for short test drive and upon returning he informed me that the truck had a problem with the steering, sounded loud and it did pull to the right. It did not do that when the truck was towed and serviced. The service manager told me that he would not tow the truck back to the station and that they would fix the problem but i had to drive it back to the isuzu dealership approximately 10 mile. I have lost significant money for my charity someone needs to hold isuzu responsible for faulty repairs and a box truck that passed inspection by isuzu but is not drivable.

Today our driver was coming to a stop from 35mph. Conditions were clear. Truck was traveling for around 20 minutes. When the truck stopped at a traffic light it jumped forward overpowering the brakes and moved several inches forward.
