• Recall 134199 [USA]: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
  Isuzu technical center of america, inc. (isuzu) is recalling certain 2011-2017 isuzu npr, 2008 npr hd and npr-hd gas, 2011-2018 npr hd and nrr, 2015-2018 npr xd, 2012-2018 nqr, 2012-2017 npr gas and npr-hd gas, 2016-2017 chevrolet low cab forward 3500 hd, 3500 and 4500 and 2017-2018 chevrolet low cab forward 4500 hd, 4500 xd, 5500 hd and 5500 xd vehicles, equipped with certain walter kidde plastic-handle fire extinguishers, models fc10 and fc110. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.
  isuzu will notify owners, instructing them to contact kidde to get a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in december 2017. • Recall 122039 [USA]: The loose bolts can allow the wheel assembly to move outward from the axle housing, affecting the control of the vehicle and reducing braking performance, thereby increasing a risk of a crash.
  Isuzu technical center of america, inc. (isuzu) is recalling certain 2011-2016 npr, 2011-2017 npr-hd, nqr, nrr, 2015-2017 npr-xd, 2012-2016 reach, npr gas and npr-hd gas incomplete trucks. The left rear wheel bearing hub locking bolts may not have been properly tightened during assembly.
  isuzu will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the left rear wheel bearing hub locking bolts, tightening them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on april 19, 2017. Owners may contact isuzu customer service at 1-866-441-9638.

• Recall 105978 [USA]: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not work correctly, there is an increased risk of injury.
  Isuzu technical center of america, inc. (isuzu) is recalling certain 2012-2016 npr, npr-hd, npr-xd, nqr, and nrr diesel trucks manufactured november 24, 2011, to july 24, 2015, and 2012-2015 npr and npr-hd gasoline-powered trucks manufactured october 5, 2011, to august 27, 2015. The trucks may have been equipped with certain kidde plastic valve disposable handheld fire extinguishers, model fc10, that may not properly discharge when the lever is pressed.

• Recall 2017173 [Canada]: Suspension
  On certain vehicles, the left rear wheel bearing hub locking bolts may not have been properly torqued during assembly. This could cause the bolts to loosen and break, which could allow the wheel assembly to move outwards from the axle housing. If this occurs, the vehicle could become more difficult to control and braking distances would increase which could result in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will inspect and tighten the rear left wheel bearing hub locking bolts as necessary.

• Recall 2017088 [Canada]: Powertrain
  On certain vehicles, a burr could impede contact between the transmission mounting bracket and the chassis cross member. This could cause the fasteners to shear or break, allowing the transmission to move out of position and impair or prevent shifting, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will inspect the bolted connection and install a shim if necessary.
