• Recall 127587 [USA]: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
  Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling various 2002-2016 recreational vehicles equipped with kidde plastic-handle or push button 'pindicator' fire extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.   jayco will notify owners, instructing them to contact kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on january 15, 2018. • Recall 94256 [USA]: This could lead to overheating and melting of the transfer switch, increasing the risk of a fire, injury or death.
  Jayco is recalling certain model year 2010- 2011 greyhawk class c motor homes manufactured from may 28, 2009, through september 22, 2010 for an improper electrical connection at the buss bar on the affected transfer switches.
  dealers will replace the transfer switch free of charge. The safety recall is expected to begin during november 2011. Owners may contact jayco at 1-800-283-8267.

The manufacturer offered to pay a local repair shop to repair the vehicle, but they could not agree on a price to remedy the vehicle. The manufacturer would not reimburse the contact for the repairs if he were to pay a local repair shop to have the recall repair performed. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 8000.
