• Recall 127508 [USA]: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
  Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling various 2002-2016 recreational vehicles equipped with kidde plastic-handle or push button 'pindicator' fire extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.Nhtsa.Gov/odi/rcl/2017/rmisc-17v746-9524.Pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. • Recall 91933 [USA]: Overheating and melting of the transfer switch increases the risk of a fire.
  Jayco, inc., (jayco) is recalling certain model year 2008-2009 and 2011 greyhawk class c motorhomes, model year 2008-2011 melbourne class c motorhomes, and 2008-2010 octane sport utility travel trailers manufactured from may 21, 2007, through september 10, 2010, equipped with iota-brand transfer switches. These trailers may have an improper electrical connection at the buss bar on the affected transfer switches. This improper connection may lead to overheating and melting of the transfer switch.
  jayco will notify owners, and dealers will replace the transfer switch, free of charge. The recall began on october 10, 2012. Owners may contact jayco at 1-800-283-8267.

• Recall 81023 [USA]: If the copper tube cracked, pressurized lp gas may escape into the compartment. this condition, if not addressed, may result in a fire, injury or death.
  Jayco is recalling 1,265 my 2005-2008 seneca '35gs' and my 2007-2008 greyhawk '33ds' and '32ss' motor homes. The conduit clamp on the copper liquid propane (lp) tube feeding the slide-0ut is incorrectly placed which may allow the copper tube to bend and possibly leak with the movement of the slide-out.

• Recall 2017649 [Canada]: Accessories
  On certain vehicles equipped with kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by kidde directly.   On certain motorhomes and travel trailers, an incorrect electrical connection at the transfer switch buss bar could cause the transfer switch to overheat and melt. Tl* the contact owns a 2009 jayco greyhawk rv motor home. The contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing several recurring failures. Two transfer switches, two inverters, three air conditioner lines, the battery, two entertainment units and two solenoids were all replaced by five different authorized dealers. The contact stated that each replacement part failed approximately one month after being installed in the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the contact was informed that the warranty would soon expire. The failure mileage was 100 and the current mileage was 39,112.
