Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2016-2019 jayco greyhawk, 2016 and 2018-2019 jayco redhawk, 2017 jayco envoy 200 series and 2018-2019 entegra odyssey, jayco esteem, and jayco greyhawk prestige motorhomes. The mounting brackets for the leveling system hydraulic pump and reservoir may fail allowing the components to contact the ground. jayco will notify owners and dealers will install an additional support bracket, free of charge. The mounting bracket for the leveling system hydraulic pump may fail and allow the pump or the fluid reservoir to contact the ground. jayco will notify owners and dealers will add a support bracket to reinforce the existing support bracket, free of charge. Recall 127562 [USA]: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling various 2002-2016 recreational vehicles equipped with kidde plastic-handle or push button 'pindicator' fire extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. Recall 132744 [USA]: A damaged lp line can increase the risk of a fire.
Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2016-2017 greyhawk motorhomes, model 29me. Damage to the liquid propane (lp) line can occur by the line being melted by the vehicle's exhaust pipe, contacting the drive shaft, or being kinked at the p-clamp. jayco will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the lp lines, correcting them or replacing them as necessary, free of charge. Issue: on certain motorhomes, the bracket that holds the pump and reservoir for the hydraulic levelling system could fail. If this happens, the pump and reservoir could come in contact with the ground. This could cause a hydraulic fluid leak and cause the parts to separate from the motorhome. Safety risk: a hydraulic fluid leak or parts falling from the motorhome could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to add a reinforcing bracket to the hydraulic levelling system pump and reservoir.

On certain vehicles equipped with kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by kidde directly. Recall 2017482 [Canada]: Accessories
On certain motorhomes, the liquid propane (lp) hose crossing the chassis frame rail may by kinked at the p-clamp and could also have insufficient clearance from the exhaust and drive shaft. This could increase the risk of a leak in the lp hose, resulting in a propane leak, which in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will inspect, and repair as necessary.
