Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2020-2022 entegra esteem, odyssey, and jayco greyhawk, redhawk, and greyhawk prestige motorhomes. An inadequate connection between the power steering pressure line and the brake hydroboost unit may result in a sudden loss of power steering fluid. dealers will replace the power steering pressure line and the hydro boost jumper line, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed may 30, 2024. Recall 198738 [USA]: A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.
Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2020 jayco alante, precept, greyhawk, redhawk, entegra esteem, and odyssey motorhomes equipped with dometic 3 burner cooking stoves. The saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened, possibly damaging the o-ring seal and causing a continuous gas leak. jayco will notify owners, and dometic service centers will install a remedy kit of gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts, and two round orange labels, free of charge. Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2020 motorized alante, greyhawk, melbourne, precept, redhawk, seneca, accolade, emblem, esteem, odyssey, qwest, and vision recreational vehicles. The adhesive bond between the glass and the metal hinge frame of the frameless crank out vent and egress windows may fail which would then allow the glass to detach and fall out. jayco will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the frameless windows for proper adhesive bond strength, replacing the windows as necessary, free of charge. Recall 143542 [USA]: An increase in stopping distance without warning increases the risk of crash.
Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2020 greyhawk motorhomes. The brake relay valve may have an air flow restriction due to a partially blocked orifice, which may cause to extended stopping distance. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 121, "air brake systems." spartan will notify jayco owners, and spartan dealers will inspect and replace the brake relay valve, if necessary, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Recall 2021178 [Canada]: Accessories
Issue: on certain motorhomes equipped with a dometic propane gas stove, there could be an odour of propane gas after a short period of use. If a user attempts to tighten the bolt for the stove's valve in order to stop the smell, they could over-tighten the bolt and cause damage to a seal. This can result in a constant gas leak. Safety risk: a propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective action: jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to replace the defective hardware and perform a leak test. To reduce the safety risk, jayco recommends that you should not use the propane system or any propane appliance in the motorhome until the recall repairs have been completed.

Issue: on certain motorhomes, the bracket that holds the pump and reservoir for the hydraulic leveling system could fail. If this happens, the pump and reservoir could come in contact with the ground. This could cause a hydraulic fluid leak and cause the parts to separate from the motorhome. Safety risk: a hydraulic fluid leak or parts falling from the motorhome could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to install a newly designed bracket to the hydraulic leveling system pump and reservoir.
Recall 2020258 [Canada]: Structure
Issue: on certain motorhomes equipped with frameless windows, the glass may not be properly attached to the metal hinges. As a result, the glass could separate from the hinge and fall from the trailer. Safety risk: a window that detaches from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect the adhesive bonding on the window glass. Dealers will replace the glass, if necessary.
