Recall 2020367 [Canada]: Airbag
Issue: on certain motorhomes equipped with front swivel-seats, the wiring harness under the seat may not be properly secured. As a result, the wiring harness could be damaged when the seat is moved. If this happens, the side airbag may not work properly in a crash. It could also cause the side airbag to deploy suddenly without a crash. Note: if the wiring to the side airbag is damaged, the srs light will stay on in the instrument cluster. Safety risk: an airbag that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the routing of the seat wiring harness. The dealer will add clips or cable ties to properly secure the wiring harness to the seat, if necessary.
Recall 2020303 [Canada]: Brakes
Issue: on certain motorhomes, the front brake hoses may contact the fender liners. This could cause damage to the hoses that can result in a brake fluid leak. If this happens, brake performance could be reduced. Note: a brake fluid leak can cause the low brake fluid warning to turn on. Safety risk: reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the front brake hoses. If the hoses are damaged, they will be replaced. Additionally, the front fenders liners will be cut to prevent future damage.

Specifically, the transmission does not automatically shift to park when the driver unbuckles their seat belt or leaves their seat while the vehicle is stationary or moving at very low speed. If the driver relies on the auto-p feature in these situations, the vehicle could keep moving or roll away. Safety risk: sudden and unexpected movement of the vehicle could create a risk of injury or a crash. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will provide owners with a booklet that properly describes the auto-p function.
Recall 2019595 [Canada]: Structure
Issue: on certain motorhomes, the hangers that secure the propane tank may have been manufactured incorrectly and could fail. As a result, the propane tank could detach and fall under the motorhome while driving. Safety risk: a propane tank that detaches from the motorhome could create a road hazard for others and could result in a fire or explosion. Corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to install an improved support bracket on each side of the propane tank. You are advised to not fill the propane tank beyond 50% until the repairs are completed.
