  • Recall 2021367 [Canada]: Accessories
Issue: on certain rv trailers, the propane (lp) regulator could fail. If this happens, high-pressure propane could reach the appliances. Note: this recall only affects trailers equipped with a winntec model 6020 propane regulator. Safety risk: unregulated propane pressure can create the risk of an appliance fire. Corrective action: jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the propane (lp) regulator.

  • Recall 2021180 [Canada]: Accessories
Issue: on certain travel trailers equipped with a dometic propane gas stove, there could be an odour of propane gas after a short period of use. If a user attempts to tighten the bolt for the stove's valve in order to stop the smell, they could over-tighten the bolt and cause damage to a seal. This can result in a constant gas leak. Safety risk: a propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective action: jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the defective hardware and perform a leak test. To reduce the safety risk, jayco recommends that you should not use the propane system or any propane appliance in the trailer until the recall repairs have been completed.

Corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to inspect the emergency exit window. If the exit window does not fully open, you are instructed to take your vehicle to a dealer who will relocate the ladder to prevent interference with the window.

The rear and spare tire pressures are listed as 5521 kpa and 5527 kpa, when they should be 552 kpa. All of the imperial data provided is correct. The company has made production changes to ensure that all new vehicles meet the requirements of canadian regulations.

  • Recall 2019341 [Canada]: Electrical
Issue: on certain travel trailers, the emergency trailer breakaway switch may not be properly wired. If the trailer separates from a tow vehicle, the trailer brakes would not self-apply.
