• Recall 238469 [USA]: An inability for the platform basket to maintain level can result in the basket tipping, increasing the risk of injury.
  Pierce manufacturing (pierce) is recalling certain 2019-2023 arrow xt, enforcer, and velocity mid-mount tower trucks equipped with an aerial platform basket. The electrical connector to the aerial turntable wiring harness may not be properly secured, which can result in connector corrosion and affect the leveling ability of the platform basket.

• Recall 248733 [USA]: A basket handrail that unexpectedly detaches from the basket may increase the risk of injury to first responders using the handrail or to individuals on the ground near the vehicle.
  Pierce manufacturing (pierce) is recalling certain 2018-2023 velocity, impel, enforcer, and arrow xt 110-foot aerial trucks. When the aerial platform is extended to its maximum angle, the platform mounting bracket may interfere with the basket handrail hinge peg and cause the handrail to detach from the basket.

• Recall 183322 [USA]: A high pressure fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
  Pierce manufacturing (pierce) is recalling certain 2015-2021 arrow xt, enforcer, quantum and velocity fire trucks. The fuel tubes between the fuel rail and the injectors for cylinders four, five, and six may fatigue and crack, which can result in a high pressure fuel leak.
  on engines with 75 miles or less, dealers will install vibration isolators to the fuel tubes. Engines with more than 75 miles will receive new fuel tubes with vibration isolators, free of charge.   Pierce manufacturing (pierce) is recalling certain 2017-2021 arrow xt, enforcer, impel, quantum, saber, and velocity vehicles. The sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot bore holes, allowing the high pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.

• Recall 156085 [USA]: The failed tube may cause the aerial device to fall, increasing the risk of injury.
  Pierce manufacturing (pierce) is recalling certain 2019-2020 arrow xt, enforcer, impel, and velocity emergency fire emergency vehicles built with a 107 foot or 110 foot aerial device. A rectangular tube in the upper mid-section of the aerial device may develop cracks and corrosion, possibly causing one of the tube walls to fail and the aerial device to become unsteady.
  pierce will notify owners, and dealers will inspect for the presence of cracks and/or evidence of corrosion. If no cracks or corrosion is found, the tube will receive a treatment to prevent rust corrosion. If cracks or corrosion is present, the upper mid section of the device will be replaced. • Recall 2021324 [Canada]: Fuel supply
  Issue: on certain vehicles, the fuel rail assembly could develop a leak. Note: this recall only affects vehicles equipped with a cummins l9 or isx12 diesel engine. Safety risk: a fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: cummins will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel rail. If damage is found, the fuel rail and fuel lines will be replaced. If no damage is found, the fuel rail will be reassembled with new crush washers.

• Recall 2020589 [Canada]: Accessories
  Issue: on certain aerial fire trucks, a defect in the joystick controller could cause it to fail. If the joystick were to fail, the aerial device could move unexpectedly. As an emergency step, the operator can stop this movement of the aerial device by activating the emergency stop function. Safety risk: an aerial device that moves unexpectedly could create a risk of injury. Corrective actions: pierce will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your fire truck to a pierce authorized facility to replace all joystick controllers on the aerial device.

• Recall 2020238 [Canada]: Structure
  Issue: on certain fire trucks, pre-existing micro cracks could be present within a tube of the upper mid-section of the aerial device (ladder). This could allow water to seep in and cause rust. Over time, the metal tube could become weak and cause the aerial device to become unstable or fall. Safety risk: an unstable aerial device could create an increased risk of injury to a firefighter. Corrective actions: pierce advises owners not to use the aerial device until it has been inspected, however the truck can still be used as a pumper. Pierce will notify owners by mail and instruct you to contact a dealer to arrange for an inspection the upper mid-section of the aerial device. If no cracks are found, a treatment will be applied to prevent rust. If any corrosion or cracks are found cracks are found, the upper mid-section will be replaced at a pierce authorized facility.
