• Recall 2021782 [Canada]: Powertrain
  Issue: on certain side-by-side utv's, the accelerator pedal may not return when it is released. This could cause the throttle to stick open. Note: this recall replaces r-21-01 (transport canada recall 2021-008). If your utv was inspected as a part of that recall, but the accelerator pedal was not replaced, your utv requires this repair. Safety risk: a throttle that sticks in the open position could cause a loss of control and create the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: the company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your utv to a dealer to replace the accelerator pedal. To reduce the safety risk, the company recommends that you should avoid driving your utv until the recall repairs have been completed.

  This recall was replaced by transport canada recall no. 2021-782. Issue: on certain side-by-side utv's, the accelerator pedal may not return when it is released.   Issue: on certain side-by-side utv's, if the drive belt breaks during operation, the belt cords could wrap around the primary or secondary clutch. If this happens while the clutch is still rotating, the cords can cut through the inner clutch cover and damage the fuel line. This could cause a fuel leak. Safety risk: a fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: polaris will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install a bracket to protect the fuel line from damage when a drive belt breaks. To reduce the safety risk, polaris recommends that you should avoid riding your utv until the recall repairs have been completed.
